Shirtsdotnet, is a B2B clothing software platform provider offering end-on-end Mto (made-to-order) / Mtm (made-to-measure) mass customisation -clothing (tailored, corporate & promowear) solutions for Mail Order companies, E- & Retailers and Corporate Identity and Promowear & premium gifts clothing retailers & suppliers.

Shirtsdotnet's mission is to become a market-led technology driven major European player for MTO/MTM middlewear custom tailored apparel solutions. Shirtsdotnet.com is a 'Collaborative Platform for e-Custom fit Apparel' connecting the market of personalised apparel direct with the manufacturer, in order to offer more customised clothing for a better price. The users will have access to a Virtual Webshop where the apparel can be designed and ordered



For the Mto/Mtm concept, which aims to reshape the traditional clothing industry, there is an important increasing and new market potential for shirtsdotnets`customers, with high margins if the principles of “Mass Customization“ are applied: this means bringing a Mto product at ready-to-wear prices, delivered in 14 days. This is only possible with remote manufacturing driven by an e-business model. The aim of Shirtsdotnet is the franchising & licensing of the It tools based on fully integrated software driven supply chain processes. In this middlewear, front and back office are 100% integrated. Or vision is to supply the clothing supply chain with high quality Mto-Mtm middlewear through technical innovations.

Remote manufacturing, quality control, pattern knowhow, 2D & 3 D productconfigurators and sizingexpertise (incl. Scantechnology) will be developed so as to offer end-on-end Mto clothing software solutions. One-to-one Mass Customisation is based on a modular components configuration process, “Cut-to-Fit”. In comparision with “Mass Production“ (for ready-to-wear apparel), where advantage of scale on the products is essential, “Mass Customisation“ combines the advantage of scale on productcomponents with the advantage of scope on the process (hard & software). Thanks to internet, the process integration of CAD/CAM is accelerated and optimalised in a global CDIN (= Computer Driven Intelligent Network), where the consumer becomes producer (=prosumer), driven the fully integrated Supply and Manufacturing Chain him(her)-self.

Mto/MtmSoftware:

At the front, we developed our patented Linosoft tm (sizing software) and Bivosoft tm - 2D and 3D (customization & visualization software), so as their interface to a E-commerce Intranet software Business-to-Business and Internet software Consumer-to-Business. Further developments concerns, 3D scan Technology interfaces to body measurements and Mtm-measurement extractions, Customer profiling and clustering integrated in the e-CRM, with updated sizing information for the customer.

In order to make it possible to offer ‘one billion combination in one click’ , the total technical process of garment options and elements has to be digitalized and database driven, not only for customer visualization, but even for the PC’s in the production plant. As middlewear we are also using the Made-to-Measure interface from Gerber Technology in order to automatically optimize fabric consumption in accordance to individual pattern grading and cut. In the back office the link between e-mails feeding the CAD (Computer aided design) up to the computer cut files (CAM = Computer Aided Manufacturing) is made, compressed and send to the single ply cutters.
